The organizers, Yurt Wellness and the Hot Tomato Restaurant (both in Fruita,
Colorado), have changed the date of Chani's Art Show Fundraiser to Saturday,
January 24.

We will need donations of art, and volunteers to help at the table. I am not
certain when the event will begin quite yet. I will let you know as soon as
I know.  If you do have something to donate, either for the art table or for
the silent auction, can you please bring it (or mail it) to our house at 124Read Entire Post

We've been here at Craig with Chani for the last week (Jet and I are staying with good friends) and are bringing her home this Thursday 9/18.Read Entire Post

Visit from the governor's wife, Jeannie Ritter, and her daughter, Talley. There were both very excited to meet Chani and check her progress.

I am dealing with trying to get a car now that mine was smashed.

Chani is moving her fingers in her left hand and walked across the swimming pool with the therapist this week. Her right hip flexor is kicking in. Left leg is coming back very well. Big week.

Last night I went to Whole Foods with a girlfriend visiting from Grand Junction, Laney Heath, to find the ultimate foods for Chani that she might be able or willing to eat. A block away from Craig Hospital on our way back, a gal took a left hand turn right in front of us at a green light. She did not see us at all, hit us head-on, and it looks like she totaled my car.Read Entire Post
